Fire Extinguishers

Not exactly the first thing we think of when hitting the trails but it's recommended to shake up your extinguishers once every 3 to 6 month to keep the powder inside from settling into a tight cake.

To do this, turn the cylninder upside down and hit the flat of the bottom with a rubber mallet. If this maintenance item is done frequently enough, hitting it with you palm might just enough.

And while you're about it check the indicator to make sure the extinguisher still has a full charge.
